## Jelly 2

Do not confuse with Jelly Star (below).

**Advantages**

* Hij is echt heel klein.
* Android 11.
* Lang niet iedereen zal doorhebben dat dit een normale smartphone is. Het voordeel hiervan is dat er voor jou makkelijker een uitzondering wordt gemaakt als je ergens bent waar telefoons normaal niet zijn toegestaan.

**Disadvantages**

* Hij is echt heel klein. Wordt daarom alleen aangeraden voor ervaren loopers (sommige dingen zijn nauwelijks te lezen, je moet weten waar je alles kunt vinden uit eerdere ervaringen met een normaal formaat telefoon). Sommige AAPS knoppen zijn lastig te raken omdat ze zo klein zijn, je hebt dus wat geduld nodig en je moet niet al te grote of onhandige vingers hebben.
* Kan alleen worden gebruikt als extra telefoon om mee te loopen. Het is beter om een andere smartphone bij je te hebben voor dagelijks telefoon/internetgebruik. 

### Battery life optimization

The Jelly 2 comes with strong optimization features that **must** be disabled for AAPS (and other DIY apps like BYODA, xDrip+, OOP2, Juggluco, etc...).

You can leave Intelligent assistance enabled, but it **must be disabled for DIY apps**.

### Battery life optimization

To avoid interference with **AAPS**, the Jelly Star 'battery usage' should be disabled by selecting 'unrestricted' (and other **DIY apps** like BYODA, xDrip+, OOP2, Juggluco, etc...).

### Intelligent Assistance and App Blocker

Like with the Jelly 2 (above), the Jelly Star should have 'Intelligent Assistance' disabled for **DIY apps**. Similarly, 'App Blocker' under 'Settings' must also be switched off to avoid disruption with **AAPS**:

### Google Play Protect

Remember to disable Google Play Protect.

### Remote Connection for Weak apk

For certain smart watches, like the Samsung Galaxy, 'Remote Connection' under Samsung Galaxy's Advanced Features must be switched **on** to use the Jelly 2, **Wear.apk** & **AAPS** remotely via wifi.
